About the job The Platform Products division is looking for a Software Developer (Emerging Careers) to support and extend our print application. Our team develops libraries in C++ that are used in mobile apps, the broader Visual Analytics Suite, and in other SAS Solutions to provide efficient, consistent, native report layout and rendering.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related quantitative field.
2 years of software development experience in C++.
Equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.

Responsibilities

Design and develop high-quality, testable, and scalable software solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across R&D and product management to ensure timely and successful delivery.
Ensure code quality through comprehensive testing (unit, integration, regression) and close collaboration with SDETs.
Maintain accountability for the full software lifecycle, including support for internal and external consumers.
Embrace continuous improvement and innovation in tools, processes, and code quality.
Ensure all applicable security policies and processes are followed to support the organization's secure software development goals.
