About the job The Platform Products division is looking for a Software Developer (Emerging Careers) to support and extend our print application. Our team develops libraries in C++ that are used in mobile apps, the broader Visual Analytics Suite, and in other SAS Solutions to provide efficient, consistent, native report layout and rendering.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related quantitative field.
  • 2 years of software development experience in C++.
  • Equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high-quality, testable, and scalable software solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across R&D and product management to ensure timely and successful delivery.
  • Ensure code quality through comprehensive testing (unit, integration, regression) and close collaboration with SDETs.
  • Maintain accountability for the full software lifecycle, including support for internal and external consumers.
  • Embrace continuous improvement and innovation in tools, processes, and code quality.
  • Ensure all applicable security policies and processes are followed to support the organization's secure software development goals.
