About The Position
The position involves high-paced software development for international projects, requiring strong verbal and written communication skills in German. The role focuses on integrating the company's products and services with external entities such as vendors, clients, and other third parties. The projects will demand strong organizational skills, particularly in the payroll, accounting, or benefits industry. The software development tasks will range from industry-wide services to client-specific reports and interfacing technologies. Developers will create standard development code for various product modules including Payroll, Talent Acquisition, Time Management, Human Resources, Talent Management, and Reports. Additionally, the role includes customizing development code and reports for clients and internal departments as needed, ensuring that all code adjustments are made post-testing to address any concerns. Collaboration is key in this role, as developers will partner with technology professionals, quality assurance teams, and application support to ensure the successful deployment and support of projects. Communication with outside entities is essential, as developers will be the primary point of contact for clients and vendors, ensuring satisfaction and clarity in project needs. The use of project management software, issue tracking, and source control solutions will be integral to tracking development specifications, testing, and fixes. Developers will also participate in team meetings to enhance product ideas and collaborate with non-technical professionals to gather feedback and clarify specifications. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, engineering, or a related field, with a strong emphasis on business fluency in both German and English. Candidates should have experience in object-oriented programming, business intelligence tools, or mobile application development, along with demonstrated SQL programming and database experience. Strong communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects are essential for success in this role.
