About The Position

Design, develop, troubleshoot and/or test/QA software. As a member of the software engineering division, apply knowledge of software architecture to perform tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and/or suggest improvements to the architecture. May telecommute. (385.31590) Employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a Software Developer-related occupation. Position requires: Programming in at least 2 languages including C++, Java, or Python; Core computing including DBMS, Networking, or Security; Highly scalable and reliable architectural patterns using Distributed and Cloud Computing; ESO/ESI/Open Engine and proprietary tools including SI Manager, OpenView, or OEManager for configuration, troubleshooting, and upgrades; Setting up development/test environments, production support, and analysis of customer issues; Clinical Document Generation to build, test and support regulatory requirements; Cerner Command Language (CCL) scripting for querying and extracting data; and Seamless Document Exchange.

Requirements

Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a Software Developer-related occupation.
Programming in at least 2 languages including C++, Java, or Python
Core computing including DBMS, Networking, or Security
Highly scalable and reliable architectural patterns using Distributed and Cloud Computing
ESO/ESI/Open Engine and proprietary tools including SI Manager, OpenView, or OEManager for configuration, troubleshooting, and upgrades
Cerner Command Language (CCL) scripting for querying and extracting data
Seamless Document Exchange

Responsibilities

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment.
