About The Position

Design, develop, troubleshoot and/or test/QA software. As a member of the software engineering division, apply knowledge of software architecture to perform tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and/or suggest improvements to the architecture. May telecommute. (385.34633) Employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a Software Developer-related occupation. Requirements

Java and C++
Data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals
Unix based OS including Linux
Relational Database including Oracle or MySql
Networking protocols including TCP/IP and HTTP
Troubleshooting and performance tuning
Internet protocols and standards, including REST, SSL and HTTP
Databases and storage
Developing services in a modern cloud IaaS provider including AWS
Data streaming platforms including Kafka
Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a Software Developer-related occupation
