About The Position

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is building a next-generation platform to manage internal libraries and build artifacts. This role focuses on architecting a scalable, highly available, and reliable system that plays a critical role in OCI's build, deployment, and security patching processes across all internal teams. Responsibilities As a key contributor, you will lead the design and implementation of systems for managing, updating, and consuming build artifacts. You will collaborate closely with service teams and CI/CD stakeholders to ensure seamless integration with the broader OCI ecosystem and maintain operational resilience.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in designing and developing scalable distributed systems.
  • Strong proficiency in cloud infrastructure, particularly Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), and CI/CD workflows.
  • Experience with data migration strategies for large-scale systems.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with various engineering teams.
  • Expertise in monitoring system performance and driving operational improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Design & Implementation: Architect and implement a high-scalability service capable of handling thousands of requests per minute.
  • Migration: Develop a solution for migrating petabytes of historical artifacts from the legacy system to the new platform, ensuring data consistency and integrity.
  • CI/CD Integration: Seamlessly integrate the artifact management system into OCI’s CI/CD pipelines across all services.
  • Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing: Contribute to technical design discussions, code reviews, and documentation to ensure the system is robust, maintainable, and aligned with best practices.
  • Monitoring & Improvement: Track adoption and usage patterns, identify potential gaps, and drive continuous improvements to optimize system performance.

  • Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
