About The Position

We are looking for a skilled engineer with a strong background in network protocols and application layer security to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with L7 proxies in large-scale production environments and a solid understanding of service-to-service communication patterns. You will be responsible for implementing and managing automation and configuration management tools, as well as monitoring and observability tools to ensure the reliability and performance of our systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with L7 proxies (NGINX, Envoy, HAProxy, etc.) in large-scale production environments.
• Strong understanding of network protocols (HTTP/HTTPS, TCP/IP), application layer security, and service-to-service communication patterns.
• Experience in automation and configuration management tools (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc.).
• Proficient in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.).
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (OCI, AWS, Azure, GCP) and container technologies (Kubernetes, Docker).

Nice To Haves

• Experience with API gateway products (Kong, Apigee, etc.) and service meshes (Istio, Linkerd) is a plus.
