About The Position

The Health Services Marketing team needs a backend Java developer to work on their internal platform called 'outbound communications' and help build a new technology that will assist the marketing team in creating an analysis of different market channels. The goal is to optimize the different marketing channels used by Health to drive the most customer traffic to Health Services.

Requirements

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems.
• Proficiency in Java and experience with modern programming languages such as C++ or C#.
• Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle.
• Experience with DynamoDB, SNS, SQS, CDK, S3, EC2, and Lambda.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services for the outbound communications platform.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements.
• Implement new features and optimize existing functionalities to enhance the platform's performance.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Contribute to the design and architecture of new systems and features.
