We are ramping up the team to deliver innovative features that provide customers with immediate access to pre-approved messaging templates and AWS-managed identities for transactional messaging. The AWS End User Messaging team is recruiting a Software Development Engineer I who will contribute to building and scaling messaging routing infrastructure including SMS, Voice, and RCS channels. You will work on projects such as: - Routing Services: Building templated messaging APIs with intelligent routing between customer-owned and AWS-managed phone numbers - Fraud Protection Systems: Implementing systems to detect and prevent fraudulent traffic, protecting customers from unexpected costs while maintaining legitimate message delivery - Cross-Region Routing: Developing distributed systems that optimize message delivery across global phone number pools - Automated Failover Mechanisms: Creating intelligent routing systems that automatically detect delivery issues and reroute traffic to ensure high message delivery rates You will collaborate with experienced engineers, product managers, and other technology leaders at Amazon to translate customer needs into scalable features.
