We are looking for a dynamic, customer-obsessed and innovative SDE to join our Amazon Private Brands team. Our Private Brands offer customers great quality, at great prices to customers. To develop, launch and manage products at large scale, we need to build automated systems, applications and tools to manage the complex product requirements lifecycle, and ensure we continually deliver quality, compliant, safe and sustainable products to customers across the world. As a Software Development Engineer on the team you will take ownership over the software design, documentation, development, engineering approach, delivery and support of applications, tools and systems. In this role you will collaborate with leaders, work backwards from customers, identify problems, propose innovative solutions, relentlessly raise standards, and have a positive impact on hundreds of millions of customers. This role is based in Seattle, WA and will not support international relocation.

Requirements

3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Nice To Haves

3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
