The Software Quality Engineer II will be an integral member of the Quality engineering team, focusing on the development and support of Alaris Infusion products. This role requires collaboration with other engineering staff to provide technical systems-level expertise, process guidance, and solutions to various engineering challenges. The Software Quality Engineer II will be actively involved in creating Verification and Validation (V&V) plans, conducting change impact assessments, participating in design reviews, and contributing to other essential project documentation. As part of the team, the Software Quality Engineer II will develop V&V plans for new product initiatives and design change projects, ensuring that all requirements are met and that the highest quality standards are maintained. This position also involves participating in the development of requirements and conducting thorough reviews of systems and software-level documents, providing constructive feedback to enhance system verification and document quality. The engineer will execute verification processes in accordance with established development procedures and will take on a leadership role in design reviews, particularly concerning software quality. In addition to technical responsibilities, the Software Quality Engineer II will work closely with management and development teams to establish best practices and adhere to defined development procedures. The role emphasizes the generation of high-quality work products and the importance of functioning effectively within a team environment, demonstrating good design practices throughout the process.
