Team Overview: Impinj is seeking a Software Design Engineer in Test Intern to join our Firmware Test Team. As an intern, you will develop infrastructure to detect and alert regressions in the performance of our firmware.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program degree in Computer science, Engineering, or related field
Experience programming, scripting, and analysis in Python or C#
Familiarity with relational database design and experience moving data in and out of databases
Clear communication skills and ability to document technical information for a variety of intended audiences

Responsibilities

Develop software and systems to ingest data from performance tests and compare results against previous runs and defined thresholds
Build tools to precalculate and store data on performance trends
Create systems that automatically alert when results diverge from expected ranges or historical data
Develop visualizations to communicate performance trends and test results
