About the Internship Our 10‑week summer internship program (June 1, 2026 - August 7, 2026) is designed to give emerging talent meaningful, hands‑on experience. You'll work with a stable, industry‑leading technology company while collaborating with experts who are shaping the future of financial services. As a Software Design Engineer Test Intern at Jack Henry, you'll join a high‑impact automation team building modern testing solutions for Episys , our flagship core processing platform. If you thrive in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment and love solving real‑world engineering challenges, this is the place for you. This role is full‑time (40 hours/week), Monday-Friday, with a pay rate of $25/hour (benefits not included). You may work in a hybrid capacity from our Allen, TX office location.

Requirements

• Enrollment in an accredited university, technical program, coding bootcamp, or technical certification program with a graduation date of December 2026, or May 2027.
• Pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer Information Systems.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week throughout the internship with minimal absences.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship .

Nice To Haves

• Academic or hands‑on experience with an object‑oriented programming language —C# or Java preferred.
• A basic understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• A passion for collaboration , teamwork, and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Partnering with product scrum teams to design and develop test cases, and bringing them to life through automation.
• Writing automation tests using modern programming languages and development practices.
• Documenting findings and helping standardize new testing methods and processes.
