About The Position

The Software (Data) Engineer Intern will contribute to the development and reliability of the data platform by owning a side project that lays the groundwork for future features. The intern will work closely with the engineering team to improve test coverage, support stakeholders, and help maintain high-quality data systems, alongside participating in the usual ceremonies of the team.

Requirements

• Rising Junior or Senior at an accredited four year university
• Solid experience with Python and SQL

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of ML/AI techniques is considered a strong plus
• Cloud architecture in AWS or GCP (e.g., modern data or cloud platforms) is considered a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Own a side project that lays the groundwork for future features
• Improve tests coverage of existing data platform
• Contribute to the general support of the team's stakeholders.
• Participate in and contribute to the usual team scrum ceremonies.
