We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Consultant II to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for a full-stack developer who thrives at the intersection of technology and business. As a Software Consultant II, you will play a critical role in both the technical execution of projects and the strategic alignment of solutions with client needs. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather and interpret requirements, understand their business challenges, and deliver robust software solutions that drive results. Your work will span the full software development lifecycle, from discovery and planning to implementation and support.

  • Full-Stack Development: Design, build, and maintain scalable web applications using modern front-end and back-end technologies.
  • Requirements Gathering: Work with stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate software requirements and user stories.
  • Solution Design: Translate business needs into technical specifications and contribute to architecture decisions.
  • Project Delivery: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, on-time software solutions.
  • Problem Solving: Analyze and troubleshoot complex systems, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to best practices, code quality standards, and process improvements.
  • Documentation: Create clear technical and functional documentation for internal and client use.
  • 5+ years of experience in full-stack software development.
  • Proficiency in both front-end (e.g., React, Angular, Vue) and back-end (e.g., .NET, Java Spring, Node.js) technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with relational databases and SQL (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server).
  • Strong understanding of software development best practices and design patterns.
  • Experience gathering requirements and writing functional specifications and user stories.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Prior experience in a consulting or client-facing role.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD, containerization).
  • Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
