The Software Configuration Manager will interface with senior level customers, warfighters, and leadership. The role involves creating, updating, and maintaining the Software Configuration Management Plan (SCMP). The manager will define, develop, document, and implement all Configuration Management processes and procedures required to achieve the goals of the SCMP through the Software Configuration Change Board (SCCB). Responsibilities include selecting, installing, configuring, documenting, and maintaining the Configuration Management processes as directed and approved by the SCCB, managing the Software Development Libraries (SDL), and providing ongoing oversight, validation, verification, and support for change management within the configuration management tools. The manager will also train project personnel on the use of configuration management tools, provide all official releases to test or other external organizations as directed by program leadership, perform Configuration Status Accounting (CSA), and conduct Configuration Management reviews and audits, including Baseline Audits and In-Process Audits.
