This position is responsible for the daily support and execution of the IT asset management process, specifically where it concerns the software asset and license management. The Software Asset Manager provides guidance for the daily and long-term strategy for managing the laboratory's software assets, while ensuring compliance with licensing agreements, Federal regulations and asset management best practices. This position liaises with groups across the IT organization to establish standards and ensure that maximum value and performance is being realized from the laboratory's software assets. The Software Asset Manager also facilitates communication across the laboratory to determine the needs of the enterprise and negotiate the best means to fulfill those requirements.
