About The Position

The Software Asset Manager/SNOW at Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is responsible for managing software assets and ensuring compliance with licensing agreements. This role involves supporting proposal writing and presentations, maintaining software license inventories, and analyzing software usage to optimize asset management. The position requires extensive knowledge of software asset management tools and ServiceNow, along with strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of Software Asset Management experience.
• 5+ years of experience with ServiceNow (SNOW).
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Nice To Haves

• Experience supporting CMS is highly desired.
• Professional certifications in relevant fields.

Responsibilities

• Support the proposal writing and oral presentation phases of solicitations.
• Develop and maintain software license inventories and proof of license ownership.
• Manage support documentation for software license management, including user manuals and purchase documents.
• Identify unused or underutilized software licenses.
• Examine existing software license populations, analyze usage, perform gap analysis, and provide recommendations to management.
