About The Position

Peraton is seeking a Software Architect in a remote support role for the Maryland/Virginia/DC area. What you will do: In this role, you will develop and support mechanisms, documentation, and procedures for operational support of core and fielded systems. You will collaborate closely with developers and mission stakeholders to support system requirements, operational processes, and technical solutions. This position plays a critical role in maintaining system functionality, supporting integration efforts, and enabling successful delivery of capabilities across mission environments and external partner frameworks. Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD
  • Must have a Secret clearance and be eligible to obtain a TS/SCI clearance
  • Must have experience deploying and managing Windows and Linux Systems
  • Must have experience deploying and managing virtual environments
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level I certification (Security+ or higher)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and support operational processes, documentation, and procedures for system sustainment
  • Gather, analyze, and maintain system requirements for technical solution development
  • Support deployment and integration of system capabilities across mission frameworks
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for coordination with internal teams and external partners
  • Collaborate with developers and engineers to support system functionality and enhancements
  • Assist in troubleshooting, maintenance, and operational support of fielded systems
  • Support integration and interoperability across distributed and mission systems
