About The Position

As a Software Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing and scaling complex, high-performance systems that support critical digital experiences. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, including designing and evolving large-scale distributed systems in production.
• Proven track record in owning architectural components of high-availability, mission-critical platforms.
• Expertise in scalable design patterns, performance optimization, reliability engineering, and cloud-based architectures.
• Proficiency in modern development practices, including CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and observability tooling.
• Experience collaborating across teams to deliver cross-functional technical initiatives.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of documenting architectural decisions and influencing stakeholders.
• Passion for mentoring engineers and improving engineering standards and practices.

Responsibilities

• Define, evolve, and implement architectural solutions that enhance system performance, scalability, reliability, and operational excellence.
• Design frameworks, tooling, and engineering standards that ensure maintainable and resilient systems.
• Collaborate with Product, Infrastructure, and Platform teams to integrate sound architectural principles into planning and delivery.
• Contribute hands-on to critical initiatives, including prototypes, proof-of-concepts, and production systems.
• Guide engineering teams in adopting distributed system patterns, fault tolerance, observability, and operational maturity.
• Conduct design reviews, provide technical guidance, and promote engineering quality and consistency.
• Align architectural decisions with business priorities and long-term platform strategy.
