Requirements

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 10 years of overall software engineering experience and minimum of 5 years of system integration and validation experience directly related to automotive
  • The ability to think at a systems level, translating broad requirements into a concrete validation architecture and strategy
  • The capacity to mentor less experienced engineers and provide technical guidance on test execution and HIL system usage
  • Strong knowledge of modern EE architectures for automobiles
  • Expertise with setup of HILs and SIL based test infrastructure for automotive ECUs
  • Hands-on experience with industry-standard tools for network analysis, simulation, and HiL testing
  • Hands-on experience with scripting for test suits
  • Experience in architecting continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for efficient and automated validation
  • A deep understanding of embedded systems, microcontrollers, and real-time operating systems (RTOS) is critical for effective validation
  • Strong knowledge of automotive functional safety (ISO26262) and security standard (ISO 21434) standards

Responsibilities

  • Setup the system integration for End2End data and control pipeline establishment for ADAS, AD and Cockpit systems
  • Architect the End2End system validation and testing strategies for ADAS, AD, and cockpit systems
  • Define the operational design domain (ODD) and create test scenarios for different system level features
  • Develop a KPI framework to measure system performance and ensure traceability to requirements
  • Implement scenario-based testing to validate against both nominal and failure-prone scenarios
  • Lead the development and maintenance of virtual testing environments and related technologies including sensor injection, dataset replay, fault injection
  • Design, select, and manage the complete toolchain for SiL and HiL testing
  • Validation of Automotive non-functional requirements i.e., Security, and safety aspects involving all automotive sensors
  • Define and validate system-level KPIs
