We are seeking a Software Applications Trainer, who is confident on stage, comfortable with technology, and energized by teaching adults. This role is ideal for teachers, instructors, trainers, former software sales professionals, or tech-forward presenters who enjoy explaining concepts, running live demos, and engaging students, whether in person or online.
You’ll deliver instructor-led training using industry-standard curriculum while continuing to grow your own technical expertise through certifications and hands-on experience. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Computer Science, or related field preferred
• Previous experience in teaching, training, public speaking, technical instruction, or software demonstrations preferred
• Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office (all versions, including Microsoft 365)
• Intermediate to advanced experience with: Microsoft 365 collaboration tools (Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Planner, etc.)
• Comfortable speaking and presenting to large groups
• Strong facilitation, demonstration, and explanation skills
• Excellent interpersonal communication and customer service mindset
• Ability to learn new technical material quickly
• Strong problem-solving skills under pressure
• Flexibility to work non-standard hours or weekends if needed
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs (training equipment/materials)

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with MS Project, Access, Crystal Reports, or Adobe applications is a plus

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging instructor-led training for adult learners in both in-person and virtual formats
• Teach software applications and business productivity tools using provided curriculum
• Facilitate live demos, discussions, and hands-on activities for diverse learner skill levels
• Maintain an energetic, professional, and learner-focused classroom experience
• Deliver live virtual training using Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and related platforms
• Confidently manage screen sharing, chat, polling, and breakout tools
• Troubleshoot basic technical issues in real time during live sessions
• Partner with Sales and customers to support customized training solutions
• Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for assigned applications
• Advise Sales and Marketing teams on software capabilities and training offerings
• Travel to client sites and office locations as needed
• Continuously expand technical knowledge and earn vendor certifications
• Stay current with new software features, updates, and teaching best practices
