IGT is seeking a Software Application Engineer to help implement casino solutions that drive the gaming experiences our customers love. In this role, you'll collaborate with passionate teams to deliver high-quality, reliable applications that power casinos and entertainment venues.   • Rapidly learn and apply knowledge of Everi's product mix with a focus on manufacturing processes in Omaha.
  • Design, build, and maintain automation and tooling to streamline manufacturing, deployment, and support workflows.
  • Provide Tier 3 support for complex software, hardware, and integration issues.
  • Configure, monitor, and optimize software systems and virtualization environments for testing and production.
  • Partner with internal teams on deployments, software updates, bug fixes, patches, enhancements, installations, and remote management support.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve escalated issues; document solutions, scripts, and support guides.
  • Perform hardware validation, software testing, and acceptance procedures to ensure reliability in manufacturing and field environments.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying process gaps, recommending product enhancements, and developing technical documentation.
  • Assist in engineering custom solutions to meet operational and client needs.
  • Regularly provide technical assistance and knowledge transfer to internal teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science, or a combination of education and equivalent work experience in a related field, is required.
  • 6-8 years' experience working with software and hardware, with advanced experience with product, hardware, and system installations.
  • System administration and database experience.
  • Windows Server Administration to support product deployment.
  • Networking and Wireless Networking to support product deployment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Project management and network experience in a technical capacity.
