About The Position

Deliver the calibration and control strategy for various vehicle powertrain attributes and functions, including propulsion, diagnostics, thermal management, performance, charging, and energy management for Ford's EV . Work with suppliers to define functions and interfaces into 3rd party components, driving further consolidation and integration of vehicle functions into our centralized vehicle motion control system. Collaborate with Hardware and software teams to bring up core functions and develop software level requirements. Understand functional safety principles and participate in functional safety analyses of complex vehicle subsystems. Develop comprehensive test plans and perform thorough testing to validate firmware functionality, stability, and performance under various conditions. Utilize alternative testing resources (HIL, SIL, Dyno facilities) and analytical tools to aid in efficient and robust development of controls and calibration. Evaluate and assess vehicle at various testing locations in Arizona, Colorado, Florida, North Carolina, and Michigan Review warranty data to identify emerging trends and develop corrective actions Willingness to travel - up to 20% domestic/international travel required Established and active employee resource groups
