About the position

The Sr. Software Application Tester will be responsible for testing software applications, particularly those related to SIGINT systems, ensuring compliance with 508 standards, and utilizing automated testing tools. The role requires a strong technical background in software testing, troubleshooting, and the full systems engineering lifecycle, with a focus on modern web applications and REST-based APIs.

Responsibilities

• Test web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks and backend environments.
• Interface with REST-based APIs/services for application testing.
• Troubleshoot software issues for SIGINT systems using test-driven development frameworks.
• Ensure applications meet 508 compliance standards.
• Generate automated test scripts and conduct automatic testing.
• Analyze and manage user requirements, translating them into software solutions.
• Develop and execute test procedures for software components.
• Create and edit software system documentation.
• Identify, troubleshoot, debug, and correct defects in software.
• Work with NoSQL and relational databases for application testing.

Requirements

• TS/SCI and Poly Required
• 14+ years of experience in Full Systems Engineering Lifecycle (SELC).
• Experience with automated test tools such as Cypress, Robot Framework, or Playwright.
• Proficiency in testing applications using JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue) and Node.js.
• Experience with Python, JSON, Swagger, JavaScript, REST, Linux, Windows, Bash scripting, XML, Chrome Dev Tools, SQL, and JMeter.
• Experience in software integration and managing user requirements.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with MongoDB, Elasticsearch, and advanced key store databases like REDIS.
• Familiarity with writing Linux-based scripts for application integration.
