About The Position

The Software Analyst at MKS2 Technologies will be part of a product team focused on validating performance, functionality, and verification of requirements in the missile defense domain. This role involves analyzing test outputs, identifying anomalies, and collaborating with developers and testers to resolve issues. The position requires a strong understanding of systems engineering principles and experience with software testing and data analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in software analysis or engineering.
• Active SECRET Clearance required.
• Experience with data analysis of software tests for performance and functionality verification.
• Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, and/or Java for data analysis.
• Understanding of systems and software engineering processes, principles, and lifecycles.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the missile defense domain including engagement management and sensor management.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and Atlassian tools.
• Experience with complex command and control systems as a Software Engineer or Systems Analyst.

Responsibilities

• Work on a small team of developers and testers to validate performance and functionality.
• Analyze test outputs to identify and report anomalies.
• Collaborate with program level integration, Modeling & Simulations, and Test Engineering teams.
• Develop scripts and programs for data analysis in Java, MATLAB, and Python.
• Document findings, courses of action, and recommendations for stakeholders.
• Identify bugs and coordinate resolution and software build execution.
