About The Position

Teleflora provides innovative marketing, education, and technology to make sure our member florists get the resources they need to thrive, creating beautiful bouquets with keepsake vases delivered to your door. We’ve been a part of The Wonderful Company family since 1979, and with a nationwide network of florists, we’ve become the world’s largest flower delivery service. With more than 10,000 member florists in North America, we lead the industry by working directly with our florists to hand-arrange and hand deliver every bouquet! Candidate will work in a fast paced development environment to create application code for Microsoft Windows using primarily C# .NET and web technologies to create both desktop and web based applications. Candidate will closely work with various Teleflora personnel for the coordination of design and development decisions. Candidate will work with a small team of other developers, both local and at remote locations. Candidate must have strong interpersonal skills. This position will involve interaction with other Teleflora development staff, management, Teleflora Quality Assurance personnel, internal Customer Support, as well as working with technical support for external vendors. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to enjoy working on a multitude of projects that further expand our technology stack. Candidates should be in the Oklahoma City area as the team currently works from home with minimum one day per month (or more as needed) in the Oklahoma City office,

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Application Design and Development
  • C# focused on Winforms / WPF / WCF / Windows Services
  • Visual Studio
  • Git / TFS experience
  • Microsoft SQL Server
  • Javascript/CSS (Angular a plus)

Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed analysis of reported problems.
  • Provide management with proposed solutions (and caveats thereof) to reported problems.
  • Identify and communicate potential issues and improvements to management and/or QA.
  • Implement code changes to address reported problems, or new improvements.
  • Work closely with Teleflora QA staff for the identification of new issues, and the resolution of fixed bugs.
  • Use Teleflora procedures for documenting bug reports and their resolutions.
  • Provide “tier 1” support for Teleflora customer support as needed.
  • Responsibility for maintaining current source code, source documentation, version control and ensuring that change management procedures are followed.
  • Ensure established application software policy and standards are followed.
  • Ensure that sensitive data is handled strictly in accordance with published company policies and procedures.
  • Meet performance standards as established by management in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provide coding and integration skills to meet the established deliverable due dates.
  • Perform conversions of data from other floral applications.
  • Communicate and provide technical documentation.
  • Provide developer support to other Teleflora projects as needed.
  • Activities in compliance with IT standards and procedures, audit requirements, reliability, quality, and security.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
