Sound like you? Let’s talk. What are we looking for: Fun, reliable, and a little weird, that's what we need right now! The eCommerce/Soft goods fabrication team is responsible for prepping, boxing and shipping small to medium sized banners and pillows. This is a full time hourly position that will work Monday – Friday with start time of 6:30 AM and are 8 hour shifts, additionally you could be asked to work 10 hour shifts and/or weekend work as needed. The position pays $18 an hour. A good sense of humor, incredible work ethic and motivation to burst through ceilings are essential. As a vertically integrated manufacturing company with lightning fast turnaround times, accuracy can be the difference between meeting a customer’s need or watching them walk straight into the arms of our growing competition, so yeah, if you love details and you love problem solving on the fly we want to talk to you about working at TentCraft.

Requirements

  • Pull, push or Lift 20 pounds consistently
  • Constantly moving around the production floor up to 10 hours a day.

  • Possess strong communications skills (Don’t take this as fluff…we are serious. Communication is a big deal here)

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate machinery such as hot air welders, sewing machines, large format printers, grommet machine, and computer guided cut machines.
  • Boxing up material and working in a shipping program to print labels.
  • Inspection of finished products including functionality and aesthetics.
  • Always paying attention to detail and checking work before handing it off to next operation.
  • Ability to keep on-pace with other team members.
  • Troubleshoot product issues with other members in the department.
  • Follow standard work.
  • Flexibility when it comes to cross training for other job functions
  • Speaking up and engaging in continuous improvement
