About the position

Responsibilities

• Assist the head coach in planning and conducting practices.
• Support student-athletes in their training and competition.
• Promote teamwork and sportsmanship among athletes.
• Help in the recruitment and retention of student-athletes.
• Monitor the academic progress of student-athletes.

Requirements

• Experience in coaching or playing the sport at a competitive level.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work with student-athletes from diverse backgrounds.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous coaching experience at the high school level.
• Knowledge of the rules and regulations of the sport.
