About The Position

Salary and Benefits $12,000 and full tuition waiver Primary Duties Planning and implementing practice sessions; Providing input and other coaching related duties for home and away games and events; Recruiting qualified, prospective student-athletes as allowed by NCAA rules (NCAA Coaching Certification module must be passed annually); Analyze video of team and opponents; Assist with team travel arrangements, such as transportation, hotels, and meals; Assist with planning and implementing camps and clinics in the respective sport; Assist with the oversight of the student-athletes academic achievement; Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Head Coach and/or Athletic Director
Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License required and an MVR will be conducted for driving university vehicles
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and work within a team environment
- Ability to work with people in fast paced environment
- Must have the physical stamina to work long hours and/or more than 5 days per week.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Nice To Haves
- Collegiate softball playing experience preferred
