About The Position

Works under the direction of the Product Manager in support of strategic departmental and corporate objectives through successfully supporting and coordinating all aspects of the SoftMedia product regarding product requirements, development of product technical documentation, development and implementation of product test plans, internal and client training programs, support of alpha and beta product releases, implementation of clients and support of implementation and live clients.

Responsibilities

  • Adheres to and enforces SCC Corporate Operating Procedures and Departmental Operating Procedures.
  • Supports Good Manufacturing Practices as defined by SCC.
  • Works with SCC Marketing and Sales departments, focus groups, and other domain experts to identify and support new product opportunities and features.
  • Assist in documenting product requirements, adhering to the SCC standard for preparing the Product Use Cases.
  • Works closely with the Product Manager or Business Analyst and other members of the product development team to provide product training throughout the development cycle.
  • Works closely with the Product Manager or Business Analyst to perform Development Testing to evaluate interim software deliveries to ensure that the delivered product meets stated product requirements.
  • Works closely with the Product Manager to provide domain expertise to develop the System Requirements Specification.
  • Works closely with the QC team during product validation to ensure that the delivered product adheres to and meets the stated product requirements.
  • Performs Acceptance Testing during product validation to ensure that the delivered product adheres to and meets the stated product requirements.
  • Facilitates product knowledge transfer to Implementation, Client Support, and Sales and Marketing staff through documentation and training.
  • Under the direction of the Product Manager, reviews client/prospect requirements, studies feasibility, and documents accepted Software Change Requests per SCC SOP.
  • Reviews prepared product documentation for accuracy and completeness, including training and user manuals, as well as release notes.
  • Provides support and implementation services to clients, investigating and resolving software and hardware issues.
  • Responsible for proper coordination of SCC and client efforts to ensure the successful implementation of SoftMedia.
