About the position
Join the Silver Diner family as a Soda Jerk (Barista), a vital role in our fast-paced and friendly environment. This position involves creating hand-dipped shakes, premium mixed beverages, sundaes, and desserts, while providing exceptional hospitality to our guests. We are looking for energetic individuals who are passionate about connecting with people and serving great food. Weekend and holiday availability is required, and candidates must be of legal age to serve alcohol.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve hand-dipped shakes, mixed beverages, sundaes, and desserts.
- Provide excellent customer service and hospitality to guests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
- Assist in training new staff as needed.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous experience in a customer service role.
- Knowledge of food and beverage preparation.
