About The Position

Belmont Pines Hospital has an exciting opportunity for you! We are looking for a Part time Licensed Social Worker or Counselor with a Master’s degree to work evening/weekend hours. In this role the Licensed Social Worker/Counselor provides services to patients and families acting as a liaison between treatment team, physicians, referral sources, community agencies, outside therapists, and third-party reviewers. Additional the Licensed Social Worker/Counselor provides individual, family, multi-family and group therapy per program needs. Completes assessments, contributes to the master treatment plan, and ensures the discharge planning is complete and contributes to discharge summaries as assigned.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Social Work or Master’s Degree in Counseling.
• Ohio LSW, LISW, LPC, or LPCC
• Work experience as licensed social worker or counselor.
• Must have working knowledge of developmental and life stage of and psychiatric problems peculiar to younger childhood (ages 3-7), middle childhood (ages 8-12), and adolescent (ages 13 to 18) populations.
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Diplomacy and discretion are essential, as well as excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple projects.
• Professional demeanor and appearance required.

Nice To Haves

• Previous work experience in a mental healthcare facility is highly preferred.
