Helen Keller Services for the Blind is seeking a Full-Time Bilingual Social Worker to join our Rehabilitation Services department in Brooklyn, NY. SUMMARY Responsible for the execution of HKS’s Mission, through the goals and objectives by providing social work services to any HKSB clients that would benefit from casework. This position is based out of the Brooklyn location with occasional travel to the Hempstead location. The social worker maintains positive communication with clients, all collateral contacts, i.e. their family members, outside social service agencies, NYSCB staff and HKSB employees. Must demonstrate a sincere commitment to HKSB’s Mission and Values and conduct him/herself at a high professional level at all times and project a positive image of HKSB internally and externally.
