This role partners with families, staff, and community agencies to remove barriers and connect students to critical services. This position may also mentor newer social workers and support crisis response efforts across Leona schools.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience (or equivalent)
  • Strong planning, organizational, and communication skills
  • Experience working with students and families
  • Valid IVP Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card

  • Bilingual strong prefered

Responsibilities

  • Implement a comprehensive social work program aligned with SSWAA standards
  • Assess student and family needs to guide effective interventions
  • Provide consultation to staff, families, and community partners
  • Coordinate services with outside agencies and ensure continuity of care
  • Support crisis response, counseling, and referrals
  • Use data and evidence-based practices to improve student outcomes
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality and compliance
  • Promote culturally responsive communication and services
  • Support college and career readiness (applications, testing, financial aid, events)
  • Serve as a liaison for post-secondary opportunities
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
