About The Position

Givens Aldersgate is looking for an experienced Social Worker who will be responsible for evaluating the social and emotional needs of residents. In this role you will interact with all departments to ensure quality of care for the residents and serve as a liaison to the IL resident association and council. What you’ll do: Recommend, develop and implement changes and/or procedures to improve the overall effectiveness of responsible areas. Ensure compliance with various local, state, and federal regulatory agencies as it relates to areas of responsibility. Coordinate and assist residents and/or family members with accommodation changes, releases, transfers to higher level of care. Follow up after move-out from independent living to ensure compliance with the unit release procedures. Provide guidance and education to residents regarding various insurance benefits or coverage. What you’ll need: Bachelor’s degree in social work (preferred) 1-3 years of experience in healthcare with senior living experience (preferred) Compensation: $54,000 -$57,000 Still curious about what Givens is all about? Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work (preferred)
  • 1-3 years of experience in healthcare with senior living experience (preferred)
