About The Position

As a Social Worker at Mayo Clinic in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, you will be a valued member of our dynamic Inpatient Psychiatry and Emergency Department team, providing compassionate, patient-centered care in a collaborative healthcare environment.

Requirements

• MSW, APSW or LCSW
• This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship with the exception of the TN visa classification
• Mayo Clinic DOES NOT participate in the F-1 STEM OPT extension program.

Responsibilities

• Conducts diagnostic assessments, determines clinical interventions, facilitates crisis intervention, and provides education for patients and their families.
• Communicates effectively verbally and in writing while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external support systems.
• Participates in the development and implementation of the treatment/transition plan.
• Functions as a team member within an interdisciplinary healthcare environment.
• Functions within the research, practice, and education shields at Mayo Clinic.
• Serves as a resource to allied and administrative staff within the section of Social Work and the Department of Nursing.
• Complies with applicable medical/legal responsibilities and organizational standards.
