Experience a place where Social Worker are respected. Utilize your inpatient experience to provide a variety of psychosocial services, coordinate discharge planning and continuum of care for patients and families from across the world. Assist them in enhancing their capabilities of coping with illness and daily functioning. Here, you will experience all the reasons why you entered such a rewarding field. This is a day‑shift, Monday–Friday position, covering 8:00 AM–4:00 PM or 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, with rotating weekend and holiday coverage at NewYork-Presbyterian/Westchester Hospital in Bronxville, located directly across from the Metro‑North station. Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP. NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses. Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW)
- New York State License as a Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW)
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of inpatient Medical/Surgical experience
- Discharge Planning experience.
