About The Position
As a Social Worker at Mayo Clinic in Eau Claire, Wisconsin you will become a valued member of our dynamic inpatient medical complex social work team who provides targeted case management for delayed patients with high needs. Under the supervision of a social worker who meets state required standards, you will be responsible for conducting diagnostic assessment, determining clinical interventions, facilitating crisis intervention and psychotherapy. Addition responsibilities include: Providing education for patients and their families. Communicating effectively verbally and in writing while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external support systems. Participating in the development and implementation of the treatment/transition plan. Serving as a resource to other staff within the section of Social Work and the Department of Nursing. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship with the exception of the TN visa classification; Also, Mayo Clinic DOES NOT participate in the F-1 STEM OPT extension program.
