Who We Are Oaklawn is the leading provider of mental health and addiction services in Elkhart, Goshen, South Bend, Mishawaka and the surrounding communities of northern Indiana. We serve 27,000 children, adolescents and adults annually through treatment that spans the continuum of care. Our services range from skills training and case management to outpatient therapy and inpatient care, specializing in complex cases. Oaklawn is now a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC). The purpose of the CCBHC is to improved behavioral health of the community by: Improving access to care Providing community-based mental and substance use disorder services Assuring consistent use of evidence-based practices Advancing the integration of behavioral & physical health Provide strong, team-base care coordination. The goals of the CCBHC are: Eliminate treatment delays to reduce preventable emergencies and unnecessary use of crisis services Use mobile intervention and follow-up peer support to increase treatment adherence and reduce use of crisis services. What We Offer for the Crisis Services Social Worker / Therapist position: Every other weekend - Saturdays and Sundays - 8a-8p $29.28hr for LSW, LMHC-A, LMFT-A $34.69hr for LCSW, LMHC and LMFT Extra pay opportunities Generous Paid Time Off which you begin to earn on the day you start Regular supervision to grow clinical/professional skills Professional development and training opportunities Sign-on bonus - prorated by FTE What You'll Do Primary duties include for the Social Worker / Therapist:

Requirements

  • LSW/LMHCA/LMFTA eligible; LCSW/LMHC/LMFT preferred.
  • Must provide diploma and official transcripts
  • Three years of experience in social service setting preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assessing and diagnosing clients
  • Creating treatment plans specific to the client’s goals, strengths and weaknesses
  • Providing emergency therapy interventions that take into account the client’s strengths, weaknesses and preferences
  • Providing crisis intervention and assessing risk factors of harm to self or others
  • Referring to alternative or supportive services based on the client’s needs
  • Providing timely electronic clinical documentation
  • Consulting and supervision with other clinicians
  • Working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team
  • Other duties as assigned
