The position involves performing clinical services, including intakes and a variety of therapy programs and techniques such as group, individual, and family therapy, expressive therapy, crisis intervention, psychodrama, and modeling. The role requires maintaining and completing service documentation such as psychosocial assessments, case notes, case reviews, court reports, and letters. The individual will conduct case reviews and determine current and future treatment and treatment planning based on quantitative results and professional opinion of client progress. Collaboration with external agents including CHR, school officials, family members, and other health agencies regarding organizational programs and client needs is essential. Participation in staff meetings, treatment planning meetings, case conferences, and clinical seminars is required, providing information relating to program administration and development. The role also includes writing correspondence on behalf of clients and their families, conducting case presentations and consultations with other agencies regarding programs and services offered, formulating clinical diagnoses for both mental health and substance abuse, and creating clinical treatment plans for interventions.
