Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of social work practices, complex case management, and child welfare systems.
  • Strong understanding of licensing regulations, foster care policy, and recruitment best practices.
  • Leadership that balances strength, empathy, and adaptability.
  • Experience navigating challenging family dynamics, emotional and mental health crises, and high-pressure decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day supervision, mentorship, and support for a skilled team handling foster care and licensing cases.
  • Oversee case assignments, workflow, and ensure quality and timely service delivery.
  • Facilitate ongoing training and professional development for staff, interns, and new hires.
  • Drive creative strategies to recruit new foster homes and retain our invaluable existing foster families.
  • Monitor casework for accuracy, compliance, and effectiveness-always aiming for excellence.
  • Participate in the emergency on-call rotation, stepping in during crises to provide leadership and support.
