About The Position

The Mount Sinai Hospital, a 1,134-bed facility and the largest hospital in the Mount Sinai Health Care System, offers extensive outpatient and specialty care. Its Department of Social Work Services, established in 1907, is one of the nation's oldest, employing over 450 licensed social workers across more than 65 program areas. The department provides comprehensive social work services and programming, focusing on the physical, emotional, and social needs of patients and their care partners. Social Workers collaborate within interprofessional teams to deliver both direct care and prevention at micro and macro levels. Employment within the department offers a pathway to LCSW licensure, as well as access to a wide range of continuing education, professional development, and extra-curricular opportunities. This specific position involves providing social work services to adolescents and their families within AHC's school-based health center, located at the A. Phillip Randolph High School Campus.
