This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific individual eligibility requirements in accordance with VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after complete review of the EDRP application. This is an OPEN CONTINUOUS ANNOUNCEMENT and will remain open until October 29, 2026. The initial cut-off date for referral of eligible applications will be November 8, 2025, with subsequent cut-off dates every two weeks until 10/29/2026. Eligible applications received after that date will be referred at regular intervals or as additional vacancies occur on an as-needed basis until positions are filled. Applicants who are referred will be considered for 90 days, after 90 days applicants will have to reapply. The Fort Worth Primary Care Clinic Mental Health Outpatient Team Social Work Program Coordinator (FWPCCMHOTSWPC) manages the operations of the Fort Worth Primary Care Clinic Mental Health Outpatient Team. The incumbent provides administrative, technical supervision necessary to accomplish the work at the sites. The FWPCCMHOTSWPC provides administrative and clinical responsibility for all mental health staff. The incumbent performs the administrative and personnel management function relative to staff supervised. The incumbent establishes guidelines and performance expectations for all staff assigned to the Fort Worth Primary Care Clinic Mental Health Outpatient Team and the Lamp Clinic, which will be clearly communicated through the formal employee performance management system. The incumbent resolves informal complaints and grievances. The incumbent provides advice and counsel to staff related to work, and administrative matters. The incumbent effects disciplinary measures. The incumbent reviews, approves or disapproves leave requests. The incumbent assures that subordinates are trained and fully comply with the provisions of safety regulations. The incumbent establishes a mechanism to ensure that staff's documentation reflects the services provided within the standards of Mental Health Service, and Joint Commission, standards and policies. The incumbent reviews, analyzes and recommends staff roles within the two clinics. The incumbent is responsible for activation, development, operation and administration of services at the two sites. The incumbent presents, interprets and implements new Mental Health Service policies and procedures or changes in the previous ones. The incumbent directs work assignments, services provided, program criteria, day-to-day program operations, and all reporting requirements of the two clinics. The incumbent will have collateral assignments, determined by the needs of the Mental Health Service. The incumbent will provide analysis and evaluation of program data and computerized programs to identify trends and needs to enhance the quality of service at the two clinics. The incumbent utilizes high quality interpersonal skills, technical knowledge resourcefulness, flexibility, initiative and creativity while executing work. The incumbent uses the ability to maintain an objective point of view as required with the often conflicting expectations of staff, medical center, Veterans and their families and significant other.
