About The Position

Job Summary: The Social Worker-MSW assesses clients for initial transplant suitability and re-evaluates candidates as directed. Counsels clients and facilitates group therapy. Provides assistance to patients and their families in the forms diagnostic evaluation, individual, family & group therapeutic counseling and resource referral. Refers clients to community resources to enhance compliance with a complex long term medical regimen. These services may be provided for both the LLUMC and LLUCH hospitals. Performs other duties as needed. Education and Experience: Master's Degree in social work. Minimum one year experience in clinical setting required. Minimum one year of previous counseling experience preferred.
