About The Position

If you are a dynamic, motivated individual who is driven to create healthier communities through excellent patient care, Saint Luke's has a fantastic opportunity for a full-time Social Worker in our in-patient environment. The Opportunity: Monday - Friday 7:30am-4:00pm. No weekends or holidays. Provides specialized Social Work needs in relation to medication assistance and compliance Collaborates with the Care Progression team to identify patients who are uninsured or underinsured in need of resources and work with these patients to obtain life-sustaining medications through various resources Collaboration with patients and community resources to increase compliance with medications, improving a patient's overall health functions as a member of a multidisciplinary team for patient care. Duties may also include assistance with program development, evaluation, professional education, or supervision of students and BSW staff. Why Saint Luke's? Requirements

  • Master's degree in social work from a school of social work accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE)
  • Certified LMSW or LCSW
  • Missouri Social Work license
  • Knowledge of theory and practice of social work at the MSW level and have basic research skills
  • Must have the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and with patients of various ages and cultural backgrounds
  • Must have excellent written/verbal communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a healthcare setting preferred but not required

Responsibilities
