About The Position
PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Provide medical and administrative social work services to the patients of Bristol Bay Area Health Corporation (BBAHC).
Requirements
- Master of Social Work (MSW) from a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE).
- Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) required.
- Demonstrated experience in supporting patients and their families in identifying individualized care solutions and coordinating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to address complex medical and psychosocial needs.
- Minimum of two (2) years of demonstrated experience in supervisory roles, including direct oversight of staff and active involvement in budget planning, management, and resource allocation.
- Demonstrated ability to provide age-appropriate care to patients in assigned units.
- Comprehensive understanding of human growth and development principles across the lifespan, with demonstrated effectiveness to apply age-appropriate care strategies for pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.
- Demonstrated ability to assess and interpret patient data to determine age-specific needs.
- Demonstrated competence in delivering care aligned with policies, procedures, and standards of practice.
