To further this mission, Callen-Lorde promotes health education and wellness, and advocates for LGBTQ+ health issues. About the Role: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker (LMSW/LCSW) to join our Behavioral Health team. The Social Worker provides individual psychotherapy to Callen-Lorde patients and members of their families of choice, along with family/couple and group psychotherapy. This role involves conducting assessments for medical patients seeking behavioral health services, providing crisis intervention, and referring patients within Callen-Lorde or externally as appropriate. Depending on clinic needs, the social worker may work in one or more of the following settings: Article 28 clinic, providing short-term therapy using evidence-based models Article 28 clinic, providing integrated behavioral health assessments and referrals Article 31 clinic, providing therapy using evidence-based models Article 31 clinic, providing therapy on a walk-in basis using an open-access model
