About The Position

Rome Health is seeking a Licensed Social Worker/Licensed Mental Health Counselor to work within our Behavioral Health Department.

Requirements

• Knowledge of Mental Health disorders, ability to create effective safety plans, complete suicidal/homicidal assessments and the ability to utilize various therapeutic interventions.
• The ability to identify individual strengths and weaknesses and provide patient centered care.
• Knowledge of the DSM - 5 and the ability to substantiate criteria and provide basis for SUD diagnosis.
• Knowledge of Professional Standards/ Canon of Ethics and OASAS 822 regulations
• Knowledge of case management including availability of resources and referral processes.
• Ability to know the family dynamic of the cases as needed.
• LMSW, LCSW, OR LMHC required.

Responsibilities

• Providing individual, group and/or family sessions
• Providing psychotherapy, intake screenings and clinical assessments
• Safety planning and providing treatment recommendations
• Assisting patients with treatment planning
• Utilizing evidenced based assessments and treatment approaches
• Providing case management, linkage and referrals as appropriate
