Requirements

• Master's degree in Counseling from an accredited institution
• LCSW-C licensure by the Maryland Board of Social Workers (required)
• 1+ year of experience in a healthcare setting (preferred)
• Deep understanding of counseling principles and professional standards
• Familiarity with community organizations and social service programs
• Exceptional communication skills across diverse populations
• Empathy, cultural sensitivity, and sound clinical judgment

Responsibilities

• Conduct psycho-social and mental health assessments
• Diagnose and develop tailored treatment plans
• Offer counseling and emotional support to patients and families
• Facilitate referrals and resources to promote adjustment and optimal functioning
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care
