Is currently licensed by the North Dakota Board respective of discipline with a minimum of a Masters Degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field of study and licensed at an independent level and third party reimbursable. Must have above-average written and oral communication skills, possess abilities to effectively problem solve and handle crisis situations. Practices direct clinical care, which may include consultations, assessments, individual counseling, group counseling, family therapy and educational services. Is skilled in assessment and diagnostic procedures/practices, treatment planning, case management, discharge planning, and medical record documentation. Demonstrates knowledge in developmental and life stage issues for the patient populations assigned and within the scope of practice. Has skills in intervention, clinical care review and consultation with interdisciplinary team. Operates as a member of a quality team in the delivery of mental health therapy services.
